Nijo Castle

You can enjoy seeing the arts, architecture, and culture through the visit to the secondary palace building.
Kinkakuji Temple
Kinkakuji Temple, famous for its golden pavilion.
The villa of a powerful lord who wanted to express his power and wealth through his garden and pavilion.
Ryoanji Temple
Ryoanji Temple, famous for its dry rock garden.
A lot of things in Japanese culture are about symbolization or representation. You can enjoy a quiet peaceful atmosphere and try guessing what this garden is trying to express.
Yasaka Shrine
Yasaka Shrine is the top shrine of the Gion festival which is held every summer.
This is the Shinto shrine which worships a Shintoism god, the original religion of Japan. You can see the difference between the Buddhist temple, and the Shinto shrine.
Kiyomizu Temple
Kiyomizu temple, famous for its big wooden stage built on an edge of a cliff, without using a single nail.
You can see the influence of Buddhism and the difference from the Shintoism. The path to this temple has many many shops where you can enjoy shopping souvenirs or tasting Japanese sweets, green tea and more.

Where does the tour Starts and end?
You can choose from Kyoto station, Your hotel, or somewhere else if you have any requests.
Can I change my lunch?
Sure, We can look for alternatives to eat depending on your request.
What happens after I book a tour?
Once you message me, I will adjust my schedule and accept (or decline) your booking ASAP. Then you will be noticed by email from me.
Is the price per person or per group?
The price is charged per group, which means you will make a one-time payment for your entire group and the price will not change even if the group has fewer people.
Will there be other tourists in my tour?
No. Your tour is private and specialized for you and your family or friends.
Can I add more people to my booking?
Yes, I accept extra people for an extra charge. Please feel free to contact me if you want to bring in your friend or a family.
Can you pick me up at the airport?
Yes, but there will be an additional charge for that. And it will be not in my car but public transportation. Please contact me for further details.
I'm traveling alone. Can I book this tour?
Yes, you can and you may be able to get a discount if you are traveling alone. The price depends on which guide you choose.
